The amount of River Murray flow entering South Australia remains higher than the norm for now, with River users and irrigators further encouraged to consider local conditions.
Late last week flows hit 12 Gigalitres per day (GL/D) and are expected to drop to 9GL/Day by this Friday, with the March entitlement flow being just 6GL/D.
Some of the additional water is attributed to water for the environment delivery, while storages at Lake Victoria remain saw a small increase last week to now sit at 58% capacity.
Releases from Lake Victoria are currently contributing to approximately 34% of the total flow to South Australia.
An increase of water from the Darling River system could see higher levels of turbidity, with irrigators urged to consider this as part of filtration system management.
