Further Riverland rainfall this week has set new records.

For March, the previous 30 year high for Renmark was 68mm set in 2012, with 2026 falls now well over that figure.

As of today, 81mm has been recorded this month at the Bureau’s Renmark site, well over the 30 year average of just 10.6mm.

Loxton’s rainfall for March now sits just under 100mm, smashing the previous record of 51.6mm recorded in 2012.

While the regions dryland producers have welcomed the rain, the regions almond & wine grape harvest has again been thrown hurdles,  with some operations forced to pause again.
