The highly anticipated film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling psychological thriller has just dropped its full trailer, giving fans a closer look at what’s shaping up to be one seriously twisted movie.
A Dark New Role For Hathaway
Hathaway stars as bestselling author Verity Crawford, who is unable to continue writing after a mysterious accident.
Struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh, played by Dakota Johnson, is then hired to finish Verity’s popular book series.
But after moving into the Crawford family home, Lowen discovers a disturbing manuscript that appears to reveal some very dark secrets about Verity and her family.
And things quickly get VERY complicated.
Who’s Telling The Truth?
Josh Hartnett also stars as Verity’s husband Jeremy, as Lowen becomes increasingly suspicious of the people around her.
The big question? Is Verity’s manuscript simply fiction… or a horrifying confession?
Based on Hoover’s bestselling 2018 novel, Verity hits Australian cinemas on October 1, 2026.
