SA’s Mobile Dialysis Unit will visit Loxton later this year, giving people living with kidney disease greater freedom to travel.

Delivered through a state government and kidney health Australia partnership, the service will be in Loxton from October the 12th to 24th.

Health Minister Blair Boyer says the initiative helps ensure South Australians can enjoy a holiday or visit family without their treatment becoming a barrier.

The $100,000 commitment sees the service visit three locations over spring and summer, with up to six patients able to use the service each day.

Bookings are now open for all three locations and can be made online through Kidney Health Australia or by calling 1800 454 363.
