A State Government sporting facility upgrade program will see major projects soon take place in the Riverland.
$245,000 has been allocated to upgrade irrigation systems at the Berri Golf Club, while at the Loxton Squash Club a new roof and air-con system will be installed to the tune of $100,000.
In total, the ‘Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program’ sees over $5 Million allocated to just over 30 projects across the state.
Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing, Emily Bourke said the projects aim to support clubs and organisations to deliver fit-for-purpose infrastructure to boost grassroots participation, with a strong focus in regional areas.
