A number of local schools are closed today, as a number of public school teachers across the state go on strike.
Local sites closed today includes the Glossop Community School, Lameroo Regional School, Renmark High School, Loxton Primary School & the Riverland Special School.
Other sites are understood to be running modified programs.

It’s the first teacher strike in SA since 2019, with the AEU calling for a pay increase as well as increased classroom support.
