STRONG TURN OUT FOR CROSS COUNTRY

The long standing tradition of Cross Country running is still alive and well among Riverland schools.

Over 470 primary school students took part in this year’s event held last week.

This year saw the event take place at Berri’s Martin’s bend, with all involved praising the council for the preparation of the course.

Onlookers praised the camaraderie and sportsmanship on display, with some local runners now to compete at the state carnival this week in the Adelaide Hills.
