Saturday’s forecast windy weather was enough to see the Renmark-Paringa Council make the call to postpone the scheduled Riverfront markets.
The call was made late Friday, however council will now hold the event this coming Saturday (15/7).
It’s said the majority of stallholders and contractors are able to make this weekend’s event.

Council CEO Tony Siviour said ‘the safety and wellbeing of our residents, visitors, vendors and staff remain our topmost priority and we must act responsibly under circumstances that could potentially pose risks.’
