We’re being told River Murray flows to SA will remain near on the current flow numbers for a little longer.
Officials say this week flows will be around 28GL per day, and due to rainfall recently upstream further unregulated flows will continue downstream.
This will see flows stay around 25 to 30GL/day for one to two weeks longer than was forecast before the upstream rainfall.
For context, SA’s October Entitlement Flow is 5.5GL per day.
Major storage’s in the Basin remain very strong, the latest report showing the Hume, Dartmouth reservoirs & Lake Victoria all well over 90% capacity.
