A load of rubbish that caught fire in Renmark prompted a quick response from the MFS yesterday.
Just after midday Wednesday the firey load was dumped from the Rubbish truck on a section of vacant land on 18th street.
MFS crews were quickly on the scene, with the fire producing a significant amount of smoke.

Firefighters were assisted by Council who provided a front-end loader to pull-apart the rubbish to allow greater access.
A cause of the fire is unknown, with crews on the scene for around 90 minutes.
