A Riverland man has been arrested, after he was allegedly in possession of a large knife in Renmark.
Around midnight Saturday, Police were called to a licensed premises in Renmark after reports of people fighting, some armed with weapons.
Then a short time later police attended an address in Fifteenth Street, where a man was allegedly located in possession of a large knife.
The man, aged 55 from the Riverland was arrested and charged with several weapons offences, including.
- Possess offensive weapon,
- Disorderly behaviour in a licenced premises,
- Carry visible offensive weapon in a prescribed place,
He was issued with a barring order prohibiting him from entering the licensed premises for 3-months.
He’s now on bail to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
