A vital service provider for many local residents has picked up further State Government funding.
Through the Thriving Regions Fund, Foodbank’s SA’s Riverland branch was granted $35,000 for the construction of a covered unloading/loading area at their Berri warehouse.
The recent news follows the State Government pledging a further $800,000 for the program, seeing 21 projects across the state awarded funding.
Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, Clare Scriven MLC said “The program enables regional groups to provide crucial upgrades to facilities and services to further contribute to their local communities.”
“I’m so pleased to see diverse projects that will help regional community groups to create and maintain vibrant and resilient towns where people feel a strong sense of belonging and positive community spirit” Said Minister Scriven.
