Local Federal Member, Tony Pasin has been dropped from the shadow ministry amid a coalition reshuffle.
Shadow ministerial announcements were made yesterday, seeing the local member not keeping the shadow portfolio of roads and road safety, with that shadow portfolio not listed at all.
Pasin said it had been a privilege to serve as a member of the Shadow Executive initially as Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Transport but more recently as Shadow Minister for Roads and Road Safety.
The local member added further that “As a member of the Opposition backbench he will continue to be frank and fearless advocate for communities across Barker”.
Yesterday’s announcements were slightly more positive for Riverland based Seantor, Anne Ruston who holds on to the shadow portfolios of Health, Aged Care, Sport together with picking up the shadow NDIS portfolio.
