The final Riverland Christmas pageant returns tonight, with organisers gearing up for a big evening in Barmera.
This year sees a people’s choice award for the best float, with pageant goers encouraged to vote online while the pageant is underway. Links to voting can be found via QR codes provided by the Barmera Christmas Pageant.
The much anticipated Barmera pageant fireworks will also return to light up the Barmera sky just after 9pm.

Meanwhile festivities continue Sunday at Loxton, with the long running carols event taking place at Loxton North’s Christmas Wonderland. This event gets underway from 7pm, Sunday.
