The new look Southern Mallee Suns have started their first season strong in River Murray Football.
They sit second on the ladder after wins against the Coorong cats and Tailem Bend in the first two rounds.
The side is what was the Lameroo & Pinnaroo Football clubs, while Karonnda & Peake’s new entity – the Mallee Storm are yet to record a win – however have been competitive in the first two rounds.

Just prior to the season start The Storm made the tough call to not enter an under 18’s team citing player shortages.
