A spike in local rural break-ins has prompted fresh warnings from Murray Mallee Police

Several items have been targeted in the Riverland, however Police say diesel and fuel appear to be the primary target of thieves.

Police say making sure sheds and gates are locked is one way to deter thieves, as well as securing fuel tanks & pumps.
