A 3G mobile network switch off information session is set to be held in the Mallee this week.
Sections of the Mallee are still reliant on the 3G network, however Telstra say they’re working hard to ensure areas have equivalent 4G coverage available by the 30th June 2024.
Telstra’s regional general manager, Michael Patterson said “Work is scheduled to upgrade the mobile network to 4G for customers in the Riverland and Mallee areas by November this year”

The meeting in the Mallee takes place tomorrow at the Lameroo Hall starting at 10am.
