Weekend rainfall recordings have broken a number of records through the Riverland.
Loxton’s 56mm recorded at 9am Sunday broke the daily rainfall record for March, with a further 26mm recorded from 9am Sunday.
Falls over 64mm were recorded in Renmark, with that being the highest amount for a day in March since 2012.

The falls have been welcomed by many dryland farming operators locally after last year seeing very low rainfall totals.
Meanwhile the rainfall has seen further delays for local almond producers harvesting, along with wine grape producers.
