Jetty upgrades in Waikerie are progressing, with the old structure now removed and new jetty piles now installed.
The new structure is aimed to withstand significant river Murray flooding and high river events, said to remain usable to an approximate flow of 110GL per day.
The total cost is said to be over $350,000, with $178,000 secured through Federal funding.

The new jetty, featuring floating pontoons is expected to be in use by April.
