The Tourism Minister says she will investigate why the take-up rate was so low for River Revival Travel Vouchers.
It’s come to light that only 37% of successful applicants made bookings with flood affected businesses in round one of the scheme.
Zoe Bettison says while she’s pleased that that some businesses have benefited from the initiative, she’s looking to improve future rounds by surveying those who didn’t use their vouchers.
The vouchers are offering $50 for use on “experiences”, $100 for one-night stay accommodation and $200 for a two-night stay.

There will be a second round coming soon, with the State Government hoping that more people will take advantage of the opportunity.
