New house price data from PropTrack reveals prices lifted again in April, now sitting 11.6% higher than 12 months ago across regional SA.
Locally home value changes were mixed, with median values for some major Riverland towns dropping slightly, however were still up on values 12 months ago.
Senior Economist at PropTrack, Anne Flaherty said it was another record month for home prices nationally with regional areas helping to lead the charge.
Ms Flaherty made further comment, saying “With housing affordability a key issue at the upcoming federal election, both Labor and the Coalition have announced policy incentives for first home buyers. As a result, many of these buyers may be biding their time to get into the market after the election and the launch of these policies.”
