A big day of football in Loxton with the curtain raiser between Waikerie and Loxton before the Russell Ebert tribute match getting hearts thumping with a close game.
Waikerie went into 3 quarter time 7 points down on the home side, however a massive 4th quarter saw the pies respond to win by 10 points.
In other RFL news, Loxton North kept their winning streak on Saturday defeating Berri, while Renmark clawed back Barmera-Monash to win by just 8 points.

Port Adelaide took the win against West Adelaide in the tribute match 12.13-85 to 10.8-68.
