Flows up for River Murray

Further environmental water flows are forecast to enter the state via the River Murray.

Flows are looking to increase to 8 Gigalitres per day by Friday, with additional upstream deliveries from the Hume Dam, Goulburn River, and the Lower Baaka/Darling River on the cards.

Local water storage at the nearby Lake Victoria also increased last week to 66%, with releases making up around 16% of the total flows into SA.

Floodplain watering operations have also recently commenced at the Katarapko Floodplain, with operations also planned for the Chowilla and Pike floodplains.
