In what’s another blow for the region, this years almond crop is set to see a decline.
Last week the Almond Board announced a 25% drop in tonnes would be expected from initial estimates.
Weather conditions during the growing season are said to be behind some of the drop, however other world producers are said to also see declines.

The Riverland is by far SA’s largest almond growing region.
