Applications are now open for the local environmental funding program, which aims to support a number of initiatives.
Now in its 5th year, the Murraylands & Riverland Landscape Board Grassrooots Grant Program supports communities to help improve the condition of local landscapes.
Projects funded in the past have included activities such as weed and pest animal control, revegetation, environmental monitoring & hosting citizen science events.
Chair of the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board, Di Davidson said “Whether it’s inspiring the next generation of ecologists, helping to improve the sustainability of agricultural soils or empowering First Nation’s communities to care for Country, a Grassroots Grant can help to bring ideas to life,”
Applications close on the 7th of April, all the details can be found via landscape.sa.gov.au
