Drivers stopped in the Riverland

The weekend has seen several drink and drug drivers caught in the Riverland.

Police reported four people on separate occasions for driving with illicit substances in their system.

They all copped an instant three-month lost of licence notice and may now be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Friday evening around 11.30 Police reported a 56-year-old man from Aberfoyle Park after he was stopped in Monash on the Sturt Highway.

He allegedly returned a positive breath test result of 0.102.

As a result he received a six-month instant loss of licence notice, had his vehicle impounded, and he will be summonsed to appear at Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
