A Sturt Highway drink driver has been caught almost six times the legal limit.
The 42-year-old man from Paringa allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.294 on Friday, after police stopped the Mitsubishi Ute he was driving at Lowbank
He’s now booked himself a date in court, had his car impounded and was issued an instant 12 loss of licence.
Then on Saturday Police stopped a Holden sedan travelling on Renmark Avenue at Renmark after they spotted it driving without headlights.
The local driver aged in his 20’s was breath tested and allegedly returned a positive reading of 0.091.
He’s off the road for at least six months and will face court at a later date.
