Figures released for Donate Life Week reveal over 75% of Riverland locals are registered as organ and tissue donors.
The numbers have been revealed in an effort to encourage more people to make their donation intentions known, with SA as a whole having an organ & donor rate of 72%.
This is above the national average, with locally the Mid Murray Council area leading the charge at 83%, with Loxton-Waikerie and Berri-Barmera both over 78%.
