The MFS and CFS are encouraging all Aussies to change our smoke alarm batteries as day light savings ends, while also saying while enjoying an extra hour of rest.
Nearly half of all significant house fires in South Australia involved homes where smoke alarms had been disabled or the batteries were flat.
