Repairs to the Paringa Bridge lifting span have now been completed, restoring regular operations just in time for the Australia day long weekend.
The lift had been out of action since late December, leaving a number of larger houseboats stranded on either side, much to the frustration of many houseboat operators.
With work now finished, the bridge has returned to its usual opening schedule and will once again open twice daily at 9.30am and 2.30pm.
