Classrooms built in the 1960’s will soon make way for new contemporary teaching and learning spaces at the Berri Primary School.
Last week it was announced the School will undergo a $15M upgrade, which is being undertaken through the State Government’s most recent $68 million capital works investment program.
Improved outdoor areas will also be constructed, which were identified in surveys of both staff and parents as a priority for the school.
State Education Minister, Blair Boyer said “The investment will make a significant difference to the infrastructure at Berri Primary School, replacing outdated facilities with contemporary spaces that support educators and students to thrive.”
An architect for the project is expected to be awarded by mid this year, and follows a planning study last year.
