An independent report has revealed the highly discussed Murray Darling Basin Plan will not be delivered on time.
The 12 year plan was due to be delivered by June next year, however yesterday the Murray-Darling Basin Authority outlined it would not be achievable.
The statement outlined that while strong progress has been made, the plan is due to fall near on 750 gigalitres short of legislated targets to recover 2750GL.
