After a far from glowing report in 2019, Barmera’s aged care facilities have now passed the test with flying colours.
This week the local health network outlined both Hawdon house and the Bonney lodge had now met the aged care standards set by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
Among the improvements was the appointment of a Lifestyle Coordinator to coordinate seasonal events for residents, as well as plans now in development to upgrade Hawdon House
Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network CEO, Wayne Champion said he’s very proud of the dedication and willingness staff have demonstrated to make a difference.
