A pilot water safety program run by Surf Life Saving SA in the Riverland has been deemed an overwhelming success.
The River based program called ‘Rippers’ commenced earlier this month in both Renmark and at Barmera’s Lake Bonney.
Berri Barmera Mayor, Ella Winnall said the program was great for the community, and Lake Bonney is such a perfect spot to host the rippers program.

“It is hoped that this program will be a wonderful addition to our community in 2025 promoting education, safety and the love of water related activities among the younger generation” Said Mayor Winnall.
The program run by Surf Life Saving SA runs through to 23rd of March.
