Waikerie CFS Open Day

Wondered what the Country Fire Service (CFS) is all about, but aren’t sure who to ask?

Waikerie CFS are holding an Open Day on Saturday the 14th of October 2023 at their fire station on Coombe Terrace, Waikerie between 9 am and 12 midday and everyone is invited!

“Take a tour of our fire station, watch some live demonstrations, find out how you can be involved with the CFS and join us for a sausage sizzle” invites Captain Shaun Arnold.

“We’re keen to recruit more volunteer members, and this is an ideal opportunity for interested men and women to come and have a look and learn about their local professional volunteer fire service, the service it offers to the community and the rewards it returns to its members”.

Smokey the Koala will be there to entertain the children and will have some goodies to hand out.
