At Tankard Dental Riverland, the team aim to provide preventative check-ups and cleans to its patients, to avoid the need for costly, invasive treatment over time. However, when the need arises, our capable team of dentists can address any problems using more complex procedures including cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges or implants. We also provide children’s dentistry services at our practice, and we strive to create a fun and calming atmosphere during appointments to assist younger patients forming good dental habits into the future.

Children’s dentistry
We welcome children of all ages to our clinic.
We bulk bill children aged 2 to 17 years eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS).
The total dental benefit is capped at $1,013 per child over two years. To access the benefits, certain eligibility criteria need to be met. If your child is eligible, there is no waiting period, and you can make an appointment immediately.
The Child Dental Benefit Scheme covers a range of basic dental services including routine checks, fillings, fissure sealing, x-rays, root canal treatments and extractions.

Payment Options
We accept all private health funds for HICAPS, Afterpay, Denticare (interest free easy direct debit payment plan) and Child Dental Benefits Scheme (bulk bill – no out-of-pocket costs).
