Summer Smith

Summer is a talented netballer who locally, plays for Loxton A1 Tigers who won the Grand Final 2023, with her being given Best First-Year Junior in A1 Honours, and Loxton A1s Runner-Up Best and Fairest player.

Summer captained Riverland Netball Association’s 17 & Under Country Championships Team, finishing 3rd at this year’s Netball Country Championships held in Adelaide in June.

Summer was selected for the 17 & Under State Netball team which competed at the 2023 National Netball Championships held in Darwin in April with Summer named Vice-Captain. It was these championships, that saw Summer selected into the 17 & Under National Development Squad, participating in a week-long training camp at the AIS in Canberra in July. Summer also coached Loxton’s Net Set Go Netball program.
