Damien Philp

Damien was born into the Berri Water Ski Club, with both his parents being a part of the club.

He has been an active member of the committee for 28 years, taking the role of president turned secretary, turned president again.

Damien as been an active member in the South Australian Ski Racing Committee since 2009 and played an integral part is getting Berri onto the racing calendar the introduction of the Berri 90.

Damien and his team participated in the Australian Titles held at Lake Bonney in 2012, where they placed first in their class.

Damien has supported the Ski for Life event held annually since 2018. Entering his own team in 2021 and 22.

Damien has never missed a social function and it said he’s mowed hundreds of kilometers of lawn and fixed every sprinkler, more than once. Damien was prominent in preparing for and cleaning up after the recently high-water event.

Damien’s dedication has been recognized with a life membership to the Berri Water Ski Club.
