The highlight of any major Gran Turismo patch is the car lineup, and this drop covers nearly every corner of motoring history:

  • Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo: A wild all-electric concept car sculpted purely for aerodynamic efficiency. It features dramatic cutouts, functional air ducts, and a halo-shaped rear taillight that doubles as a massive exhaust vent for air.
  • Ferrari F355 Berlinetta (1994): The classic Italian mid-engine sports car styled by Pininfarina. With its sleek curves and high-revving V8 soundtrack, it is pure 1990s supercar royalty.
  • Mugen Motul Civic (1987): A Group A touring car legend based on the third-generation Honda Civic Si. Built with twin-cam power, it dominated Japanese track racing in the late eighties.
  • Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept: A modern rotary racer celebrating Mazda’s Le Mans heritage with a screaming four-rotor engine paired with modern SKYACTIV engineering.
  • Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line: Because you cannot have true car culture without a practical box on wheels. This stylish people-mover features chrome accents, sliding doors, and plenty of space for virtual road trips.
  • Citroën 2CV (1948): Affectionately dubbed the “umbrella on wheels,” this legendary French runabout was designed to carry farm produce across rough fields without breaking an egg. It might not win any drag races, but it oozes character.

Beyond the cars, players gain access to the challenging Sportsland Sugo circuit, alongside six brand-new World Circuit events to test your lap times.

The update also expands photography options with new Scapes locations, introduces fresh Car Viewer capabilities, and adds an Experience mode. If you have not jumped into the driver’s seat yet, Sony has also released My First GT, a free standalone taster on the PlayStation Store designed to introduce beginners to the basics of track driving.

Commemorative 30th Anniversary DualSense Controller

To mark three decades since the series first revolutionised digital motorsport, PlayStation unveiled the Gran Turismo Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller.

The gamepad features motorsport-inspired racing stripes, custom graphic decals, and a textured front faceplate modelled after lightweight carbon fibre. Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi shared that the design pays tribute to the shared passion of millions of car enthusiasts who have followed the series since its original PlayStation debut.
