Over 200 crew aboard 35 boats have departed Berri as part of this year’s Novita Mighty River Run.
A welcome dinner held at the Berri Hotel Sunday evening revealed funds raised so far had passed the $500,000 mark, with one team raising over $84,000 to support the charity.
Running now for 18 years the event in total has raised several million dollars to support children living with disability.

The River Run concludes later this week over 400km downstream at Wellington.
