Widespread rainfall has been observed through the Riverland and Mallee over the weekend.
The rainfall, which started Friday varied between major towns and farming areas, however was very much welcomed after the dry year the region has had.
Official bureau weather stations at Renmark and Loxton had around 14 and 18mm over the three days, while further south at Paruna near on 30mm was recorded.

There’s further hope the regions farmers could see further falls this week.
Year to date rainfall for Renmark now sits just over 46mm, compared to over 100mm at the same time last year.
