Lachlan Stokes

Lachlan has put a stake in the ground as a hockey player to be watched, in particular as goal keeper.

Locally, he played goal keeper in the Men’s A Grade and was named as part of the 2022 Senior Riverland Hockey Team of the Year, and both the 2022 & 2023 Junior Riverland Hockey Teams of the Year.

He was awarded 2023 Berri Hockey Club A Grade Best and Fairest, and even lends his talents as coach of the Berri Hockey Club Under 14s, the premiers for 2023.

Further afield, he was goal keeper for the 2022 Eastern Eagles Zonal side, competing in the State Championship Under 17 competition, as well as goal keeper for the 2023 Riverland Senior Men’s side for the State Country Championships.

He was selected for the 2023 SA State Country Team and the 2023 Under 18 SA State Team Squad becoming a shadow player. In 2024 he’ll be travelling to Borneo after being select in the Under 21 Australian Country Hockey Team.
