A passionate crowd of local football supporters attended Saturdays Riverland Junior Football League Grand Final held at Berri.
With no senior football this season all eyes took to the future stars of the local comp with the under 13’s 15’s and under 18’s all thrilling games.
The under 13’s premiership went to Renmark who won 2.3-15 to Berri 1.6-12.
Under 15’s also went to Renmark winning 10.4-64 holding off a fast finishing Waikerie 9.4-58.
While Loxton North fought hard to defeat Berri in the under 18’s, a side that was undefeated.
Loxton North only hit the front in the 4th quarter will the game ending in thrilling circumstances, Loxton North 8.5-53 to Berri 7.7-49
RFL chairman Shane Uren congratulated all involved in the season, reflecting on the difficulties faced by all clubs participating in the shortened season.
