After a very challenging season for local Football, tomorrow sees the Riverland Junior Football League Grand Final for the under 13’s 15’s and under 18’s.
While many are excited to see the Grand Final to be held in Berri tomorrow, RFL chairman Shane Uren says due to current COVID restrictions capacity will be capped at 1000 attendees.
Mr Uren said the Riverland Football League apologise in advance however hosting an event with over 1000 attendees requires a significant higher level of protocols and could not be undertaken by limited number of local volunteers and RFL officials.
The Under 13’s kicks off tomorrow at 9.30 and sees Berri take on Renmark.
Renmark’s under 15’s will take on Waikerie at 11.15am with the under 18’s starts at 1pm and will see Berri play Loxton North.
