A passionate crowd was in attendance Saturday for the Riverland hockey Grand Finals.
In the A women’s Berri and Renmark were locked at 2 all after extra time.
With the game going to a penalty shootout, Renmark held their never to hold on for victory, capping off an impressive season and making it three premierships in a row.
In the A Men’s Berri proved just a little too strong for a committed Waikerie side, with Berri winning 4-2, Berri’s win was their first since 2010.
B grade honors in the Women’s went to Berri, While a very experienced Loxton side picked up the B grade Men’s premiership.
