Despite a challenging year, the 48th Riverland wine show is powering ahead and is now open for entries.
The show is one of the oldest continuing running wine shows in Australia and one of the only ones to celebrate inland wine regions such as the Riverland, Swan Hill, Murray Darling, Riverina and Rutherglen wine regions.
Wine producers of all sizes are encouraged to submit wine, brandy and fortifieds into this year’s show which will be awarded under the 100 point system.
A spokesperson from the show said this year sees a new category entered, for 'Single Vineyard Riverland Dry Table Wines' –encouraging Riverland wine producers to enter the competition
Riverland Wine Show entries close on Friday, August 28 with judging and the gala dinner to be held in October.
