A Victorian man who was arrested in Renmark late last week for breaching a covid-19 direction remains behind bars.
39-year-old Victorian, Shannon Muscat was caught sleeping in a Holden Barina near the Renmark cemetery last Friday after allegedly being refused entry to South Australia earlier that day.
Earlier this week A court heard Mr Muscat was attempting to start a new job as a fruit picker in the Riverland.
Muscat applied for release, however the magistrate refused to grant bail because of fears he may re-offend.
The case is set to return to court next month.
