The Berri-Barmera Council is ramping up its covid-19 response to ensure the safety and protection of the local community.
Yesterday council made the call to close the Main Council office in Berri as well as the Berri Visitor information centre, council libraries will also be closed to the public.
Council have said that frontline staff will continue to deliver services by telephone, email and other methods as required.
Mayor of the council Peter Hunt said “The Council, along with the Senior Management Team’s highest priority is helping to slow the spread of COVID- 19 throughout our community and the best way to do this is to take the advice that we all are given and keep the communication channels open to the community”
