
Moves are underway to see if the Riverland could be the home of a new Catholic High School by 2022.
Catholic Education South Australia is set to explore the feasibility of a senior school in the region, possibly in Renmark.
Speaking to the Murray Pioneer, Director of Catholic education Port Pirre diocese Nichii Mardon said community consultation has been recently undertaken and they were pleased with the response from Riverland families.
Currently the Riverland has four catholic primary schools, located in Loxton,Berri,Barmera & Renmark.
It’s expected the decision on the idea of a senior school will be made to mid to late this year.
