The Mid Murray Council is calling from community input to form a new Disability access and inclusion plan.
The plan, to be developed with the support of international disability access experts EnvironArc, will include outcomes to support people with physical, mental and intellectual disabilities.
Mid Murray Mayor Dave Burgess says the Council is committed to ensuring people with a disability are included in all aspects of local life.
Through the plan’s consultation and development, council say they will be exploring everything from built environments, to digital communication tools and public education programs.
Consultation will commence with a meeting in Mannum on the 21st of January followed by online consultations for those unable to attend.
More information on the plan can be found by contacting the Mid Murray Council.
